2025 NETA Board Officers
For the 2025 season, changes are afoot for the NETA board. David Scarbro (president), Kayla Lovejoy (vice president) & Bill Bonneau (treasurer) all plan to leave their current positions.
Kayla and I plan to swap jobs. As president, she will become the “face” of NETA, focusing on communication with the membership and the world at large. I will assume more of a CTO (chief technical officer) roll as vice president, working to modernize NETA’s tasks of membership management & scoring.
Bill has served as treasurer since 2018. He is always the first person to volunteer for any job and his commitments to the local trials community grows every year. Bill was elected vice president of the Rhode Island Trials Club this year. Sally Bernstein is willing to step into the treasurers job. With a background in finance, she will do an excellent job of handling our budgeting needs.
Brian Townsend is able to stay on as secretary unless someone else is interested in becoming more involved in NETA. Please contact me if you would like to consider becoming secretary and wish to learn more about the responsibilities.
With all that said and subject to approval of the membership, we propose the following slate of officers for NETA starting with the 2025 season.
- Kayla Lovejoy – President
- David Scarbro – Vice President
- Sally Bernstein – Treasurer
- Brian Townsend – Secretary
If you would like to add your name for consideration, please let me know, so we notify the membership there are others to consider for board positions.
Regards,
David Scarbro
