Rhode Island TrialGP USA 2025 (update 2)

Time is flying and the TrialGP USA 2025 Team are making significant progress in planning for the event.

Latest news is that the www.TrialGPUSA.com website launched over the weekend, along with links to the online ticketing and merchandising application. Great work by Mike Serpe!!!!

These sites are still being refined, but please have a look, buy something (don’t forget workers & checkers get free tickets and Limited Edition T-Shirt), and pass the links along to anyone or everyone in your contacts to help publicize the event and encourage others to make TrialGP USA 2025 a DESTINATION for July 11th – 13th 2025.

That being said, there is still a lot to plan, test, deploy and execute between now and then. Here are a couple items I would like to poll the RITC and NETA for assistance:

  1. I need a GEEK to help me to test and evaluate security monitoring software such as ZoneMinder and others. Experience with Windows and Linux environments needed……If you don’t understand anything from that, move onto #2.
  2. We are looking at alternatives to providing traditional power around the paddock area. One of those options is to use the latest gas or propane fueled super-quiet Inverters to provide temporary power to critical functions around the venue, such as, charging points for the team parking cars, small air conditioners, powering temporary offices for FIM, Video crew, Press, Admin, along with a cooled Medical Center.
    • Request 1. Does anyone have one of these super-quiet inverter generators they would be willing to loan, or rent, to RITC for the duration of the event?
    • Request 2. If you are considering buying a generator for this winter, I am exploring some options to get you the generator you want, at a lower cost, in return for loaning the unit for the event. We expect to need generators ranging from 1200Watts to around 9500Watts. If you are interested, please call me at 203 213 2949 to discuss.
  3. I am looking for someone to assist with evaluating and recruiting food trucks for the event. I would like to recruit the vendors from Rhode Island or Eastern Connecticut area. If you are a connoisseur of food trucks in the area, your assistance would be greatly appreciated and may even include a budget to sample their menus!

In addition to these, we are still looking to recruit volunteers to work for one day of the event, get free entry for the other, along with the Limited Edition Workers T-Shirt! Checker recruitment is going well, but we need assistance in many roles behind the scenes. Coach has a list as long as your arm!

That’s it for now. We will continue to work on making the event a success, any assistance you can give will be greatly appreciated by me, my team, the spectators, and the riders on the day!

Any questions or ideas how to make the event a bigger success…..I’m all ears!
