Bob Bertrand Memorial Fun Trial
On November 5th, the Springfield Motorcycle Club (SMC) will hold the 3rd annual fun trial. We’ve renamed the event to honor of Bob Bertrand. Bob was a member of SMC and a founding member of RITC. He was great friend to many, always giving 100% both as a competitor and a volunteer.
- Location: 219 Warren Road, Brimfield, MA 01010.
- AMA and NETA memberships are not required.
- Admission is $20
- Signup starts at 8:30am and the riders meeting is at 9:30am.
- Event ends at 2pm. Please checkout when leaving so we know you made it safely out of the woods.
- Primitive camping is available Saturday night. Gates open at 2pm on Saturday.
- Friendly dogs are allowed.
- There is a communal fire pit and wood, so please no individual fires.
- Vintage and modern bike are welcome. Classes are Vintage A, B, & C and Modern A, B & C.
- Sections are NETA Sportsman level difficulty, but have been adjusted slightly to be vintage friendly.
- All sportsman sections and the loop trail have been leaf blown.
- Most of the expert sections from the June NETA event are still gated, but have not been leaf blown since summer. They can be ridden, but may be slippery.
- Ride as much as you want, score your best 3 loops.
- 10 sections per loop.
- Self checking and scoring. Scores sheets will be available for posting scores.
- No awards. All riders will receive a commemorative sticker.
- This is a recreational event, it is not a competition. Please be mellow and have fun.
