NETA Trial in Petersburg, NY on May 14th

State Line Motorcycle Club is hosting Round 2 of the 2023 NETA Championship Series on May 14th. The long range forecast is for pleasant temperatures and little rain.  This will make a what is annually a great event even better.

  • Address: 766 Babcock Lake Road, Petersburgh, NY.
  • Signup: 9am,  Start: 11am, Finish: 3pm.
  • The parking is extremely limited so please no big trailers.
  • Camping is NOT allowed at the event.
  • Food is NOT sold at the event.

Al (Tibby) Thibodeau

(The following biography is from a 2009 NETA newsletter)

Four time New England Champion
1960,1961,1962 and 1966

A multi-faceted man, Tibby served his country with distinction in two separate stints in the Marine Corps, including one tour during the Korean War. He was an airplane pilot and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing, as well as spending time with his family.

Tibby’s first love, though, was always motorcycles and over the years he became well-known in local racing circles, competing in all disciplines of the sport including trials and hill climbing.

Tibby founded, owned, and operated Tibby’s Harley-Davidson, a family-owned and operated dealership in Springfield, MA since 1956.

Tibby passed away on March 30, 2008.

RITC 14th Annual Practice Day

  • WHEN: April 16, 2023, check-in 8am, starts at 9am, ends at 4pm
  • WHERE: 283 Escoheag Hill Rd, Exeter, RI
  • COST: Donation $20.00
  • Riders must wear 200 square inches of solid daylight bright orange.
  • MUST HAVE: Trials specific bike with trials tires, helmet, and riding boots or work boots.
  • Other good items to have would be knee and elbow pads, gloves and a way to carry water.
  • All trials riders from beginner to advanced are welcome.
  • Pizza lunch will be provided.
  • Participants must be AMA members.
  • Please indicate your ability when signing up:
    New rider, novice, Senior/Sportsman A, B or C, intermediate etc.
  • Provide your AMA number with expiration date when signing up.
