Hi there, I’m a 64 year old kid that’s been riding all my life and this year with the gift of a 74 Yamaha ty250 I’d like to try trials ! Riding trail has always been a blast, my question is will this class prepare me for vintage events ?And I’m curious about how many folks do you usually expect ?
Hi Bryan,
Yes, you will find the class useful. It is setup to accommodate everyone. In the morning riders divide up into groups according to experience for help with an instructor. After lunch, your group will ride through a set of sections to practice what you learned in the morning.
I’m not sure how many are expected, but would guess there might be 30-50 riders total.
David ,thank you for the speedy response ! As it turns out I can’t make this one , do you have others planned like this later in the year? My ama card isn’t here yet either , gotta be legal ! Looking forward to meeting you alll ! Bryan
Sorry, the trials clinic is only done once a year at the beginning of the season. You can print a temporary card via the AMA’s website if it turns out you are able to make the clinic. Check the event schedule on the website for what’s happening the rest of the season. Meriden, CT & Brimfield, MA are the locations for the first two events.
